Product Description
The redundant Ethernet adapters are used across the entire system
and on a common network that is fault-tolerant. A network like this
is resilient and it can be used without any additional hardware
components.
Besides that, the 1715 redundant modules that are used with an
adapter base such as the 1715-A2A are built with innovative and
intelligent technologies that provide top-level diagnostics.
The diagnostics features include monitoring of the health of the
module and performing multiple samples of a single signal to warn
about potential issues. These issues can arise from current
irregularities, short circuits, and sudden rate-of-change or
thresholds.
The 1715-adapter base for redundant I/O systems can be used for
most critical applications since it is super flexible, and it has
features that are not available with other I/O platforms.
