Product Description
This redundancy module cable does not need any type of ground
isolation because it is a fiber-optic interface;
It uses only one fiber-optic channel for transmitting and receiving
information between the primary and secondary PLCs.Installing and
configuring the redundancy feature in PLC PLC systems is a task
that should only be performed by highly trained electrical
personnel;
It is important to remember that the 1757-redundancy module cable
should not be bent around sharp edges, and that it should not be
cut, run over, abraded, or otherwise damaged during installation;
The total light loss through the cable needs to be less than or
equal to 7 dB at 1300 nm wavelength for the redundancy system to
work properly.
